Sviluppo Basilicata is going to launch new microcredit and venture capital funds. Meanwhile the Hungarian Government is also launching the second round of venture and seed capital funds.

In Basilicata the Regional Venture Capital Fund aims to encourage the birth and development of SMEs located or intending to locate within Basilicata region, through the Fund’s direct investment or the co-investment with partner investors. Menawhile the microcredit scheme provides interest free-loan for SMEs between euro 5.000-2500. In Hungary new and existing fund managers can apply in the 2nd round of the JEREMIE programme to manage seed and venture capital funds, for an amount of euro 100 million. So far - in the first round - 8 funds have received support.
