INOVA NOVA joined the project in April 2010, replacing the Alexander Dubcek University of Trencin (TnUAD) in the project, taking over activities in Slovakia.

INOVA NOVA is non-profit organization with rich experience in managing EU funded projects. It is controlled by the Managing Board composed of representatives of Trnava and Trencin region. Team of INOVA was involved in many regional and sectoral oriented projects with main focus on innovation topic. Its main purpose is meeting the needs in general interest in the field of innovation, regional development, education and SME support.Team of INOVA implemented projects of regional innovation strategies in Trencin and Zilina regions. They included priority “Technology and Knowledge Transfer” aiming to establish business networks, centres, parks and clusters and technology and know-how transfer centres in the Trencin region that would enhance the innovation and competitiveness level of the region.FIDIBE is entire upgrade of the RIS projects as it is in accordance with the strategy and aims to set up clear conditions and manual for setting up the innovative business parks in the region.

INOVA NOVA's previous experience in EU-funded projects:

INOVA NOVA and its team has many experiences with EU funded projects. We select the most relevant ones: - V4LivingLabs (Visegrad Fund, partner): analysis of living labs initiatives in Slovakia and suggestion of their proper development, - ENER SUPPLY (SEE, subcontractor): analysis of renewable energy sources policies within project regions and draft of the RES regional strategy, - Development and Implementation of Regional Innovation Strategy in the Trencin Region (RIS INSTIT, 6th FP, partners as private company). Other relevant projects that INOVA NOVA staff implemented: Innovation Policy of the Slovak Republic 2008-2010, cooperation on SF Operation Programme Competitiveness and Economy Growth 2007-2013, Mo.De.L.E. (Interreg III C), Econet (cross-border cooperation SK-AT), Innovation Relay Center Slovakia (Research FP), Enterprise Europe Network Slovakia (CIP 2007-2013).
